The Qutub Complex is home to some of the most magnificent structures dating back to the Delhi Sultanate. Amazingly, it was also the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city - Lal Kot.

The crowning jewel of this complex is the 73 m high Qutub Minar, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This early thirteenth-century tower was built by Qutubuddin Aibak to commemorate his victory over the Chauhan rulers. Besides this, the complex houses other attractions like the Alai Darwaza, Iltutmish’s Tomb, Quwaat-ul-Islam Mosque and the 1600-year old Iron Pillar to name a few.

Watch the video to know more about this historic complex and all its iconic structures.
